Pricing & Policies

As a care provider, I am committed to transparent client and community communication. For additional questions, please contact me directly at alexis@alexisryantherapy.com.

  • You are responsible for payment for your therapy services. My standard fee is $120 per 50 minute session. Payment is due at the end of each session and I will keep a credit card on file to make payment easier for you.

  • At this time I do NOT accept insurance, however, upon request I can provide a super-bill that may be reimbursable by some insurance plans. To better understand why, please check out my FAQs page.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me 24 hours in advance.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 24-hour notice, you will be charged for half the scheduled session counseling fee unless we are able to reschedule in the same week. Rescheduling is based on availability, and I cannot make any guarantees to reschedule you in the same week.

No Shows: If you fail to notify me at all and do not show up for your appointment (“no show”), your account will be charged a full fee at the end of your scheduled appointment time.

Exceptions to these policies include illness or anything that can reasonably be considered an “emergency."

  • I am not a crisis clinic. If you are having an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also dial 988 for the national suicide and crisis lifeline. If you need 24-hour care or additional support outside of scheduled counseling, I will work with you to develop an adequate support system or refer you to the nearest crisis clinic. Colorado Crisis Services can be reached at (844) 493-8255 for immediate assistance. They also have 24/7 walk-in clinics across the state. Since I do not provide after hours service without an appointment, you are solely responsible for any fees incurred in seeking after hour treatment from any counseling agency, center, or emergency room.

  • The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. Longer sessions will be charged at a prorated fee. If you are late to session, your time may be shortened, but you will still be charged for the entire time scheduled.

I am available for individual therapy Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays between 9am-5pm MT.

  • Phone

I am often not immediately available by telephone. At these times, you may leave a message on my confidential voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as possible. I will do my best to return your message within 24 hours, however, it may take longer for non-urgent matters. I check messages Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

    Electronic Communication

I cannot ensure the confidentiality of any form of communication through electronic media, including email and text messages. If you prefer to communicate via email or text messaging for issues regarding scheduling or cancellations, I will do so. While I may try to return messages in a timely manner, I cannot guarantee immediate response and request that you do not use these methods of communication to discuss therapeutic content and/or request assistance for emergencies.

  • Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
